What type of benefits and coverage you qualify for will depend on the Cigna plan you have. You may incur more out-of-pocket costs and higher deductibles with the lowest plan, bronze. More comprehensive coverage with lower deductibles is available with the silver, gold, and platinum plans. There may be additional charges with an out-of-network provider. With the bronze plan, there is 0% coinsurance for in-network providers. Cigna will pay all remaining costs if the plan’s total deductible is paid. When the deductible has been paid, the silver plan’s in-network coinsurance would typically be 30-50%. Out-of-network services are determined on a state-by-state basis.
